Media Management & Marketing Workshop
Media Management and Marketing Workshop is part of the League and Club Management Workshops program to enhance revenue generation, media and communications capabilities of administrators in leagues and clubs, in order to grow and improve the level of soccer leagues and soccer club managements.
With revenue generation and media engagement being identified as one of the primary pillars of focus in the soccer industry, participants will be pleased with the opportunity to widen their understanding of the evolving sponsorship and media coverage methods.
During the workshop, the marketing and club sponsorship sessions will examine case studies to demonstrate the commercial principles applied by leagues and clubs of similar scales throughout different parts of the world. It will emphasise the importance of developing a communication strategy and providing insights into managing media operations during soccer tournaments.
Participants will actively participate in discussions on best practices in marketing, promotion and sponsorship activations.
The outcome of the workshop will be to improve income generation and sponsorships, to ultimately introduce a higher level of professionalism to leagues and clubs.
Club Licensing for Premier Leagues & Other Divisions Workshop
This workshop is part of the League and Club Management Workshops program designed to ensure the implementation of the Asian Football Confederation Cup Club Licensing Regulations and implementation of the leagues and clubs licensing regulations.
A presentation on the Asian Football Confederation Development Program will be conducted during the workshop, addressing the objectives, timelines, processes and criteria within the Club Licensing Regulations Framework.
A special session will cover the topic of leagues and clubs that they cannot manage their youth teams as they severely lack infrastructure facilities for training and other obstacles. It will also offer information on full plans about working with schools and finding out a mechanism to adopt their teams as their youth teams.
Moving forward, a Club Licensing for Premier League and Other Divisions Workshop has been planned to be held in the future, in association with the future updates of the Asian Football Confederation Cup Club Licensing Regulations.
Stadium and Security Workshop
This workshop is part of the League and Club Management Workshops program designed to ensure the implementation of the AFC Cup Club Licensing Regulations and implementation of the leagues and clubs licensing regulations.
Security officers from clubs, leagues and from the football governing bodies together with stakeholders such as stadium managers and police officers will be invited to learn about best practices in a stadium and security.
The Asian Football Confederation club licensing regulations were introduced in 2015 under the Asian Football Confederation League Development Program. The regulations require clubs and leagues to assign dedicated security officers to work in stadiums. This workshop offers security officers the opportunity to learn about their role and tasks in their club and league competitions.
The workshop will inform the participants about stadium and safety requirements under Asian Football Confederation Club Licensing and their role in ensuring safety at football matches.
The workshop will highlight issues related to decision-making in security matters and the relevant AFC and FIFA regulations, specific security situations in clubs, league and national team matches, different categories of risk situations, the role of the security officers in these situations and the impact of other related match operations areas, such as ticketing and access control, communication and coordination and contingency plans.
Match Day Organisation Workshop
This workshop is part of the League and Club Management Workshops designed to ensure the implementation of the Asian Football Confederation Cup Club Licensing Regulations and the implementation of the leagues and clubs licensing regulations.
The workshop will provide knowledge on professional match organisation and sharing of best practices among match commissioners, and to train match commissioners and venue directors who meet the Asian Football Confederation standards.
The workshop will cover various topics relating to the Asian Football Confederation Champions League and Asian Football Confederation Cup, match programs and official countdowns. The roles and responsibilities of the match commissioners, stadium security officers, media operations and more.
A practical session will be organised during a national league game, where the workshop participants will be asked to use the information received earlier to check whether the Local Organising Committee (LOC), clubs and other officials have followed correct matchday organisation practices.
Media Officers and Other Media Professionals Workshop
This workshop is the League and Club Management Workshops designed to ensure the implementation of the Asian Football Confederation Cup Club Licensing Regulations and the implementation of the leagues and clubs licensing regulations.
Media officers and other media professionals will learn about communications, PR and media operations in this specialised workshop aimed to help participants take their communications skills to the next level for the benefit of league and club development.
AFC club licensing regulations were introduced in 2015 under the AFC League Development Program. The regulations require clubs to have a dedicated media officer and the workshop will encourage passionate discussions about issues such as social media, media relations and media operations.
The workshop will offer further development opportunities in broadcasting and staff training, as well as opportunities to gain knowledge as an Asian Football Confederation Media Officer.
